Motorola has begun releasing an Android Marshmallow update for the Moto G 2014, also referred to as the second generation Moto G. Owners of the Moto G 2014 in a few countries have already been able to install the update on their devices, but presently it seems like more users will be able to download it on their handsets.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update adds features such as the new Doze mode, granular app permission controls, Google Now on Tap and so much more to the Moto G 2015.

If you are yet to receive an update notification, you can navigate into your Settings >> About phone and manually check if the update is available. Once you have downloaded it, you can let us know how it works out for you.
