Great news for the budget-priced Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet owners: Android 4.4 KitKat is coming your way! Many users have reported successful installations of the update earlier this week.

The size of the update is over 700MB so you’ll need to give it a few minutes to download, but with all the perks and corks introduced by the new update, I’m sure it’ll be well worth it.

What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
