Huawei's Nexus 6P is one of the Google devices known to have received the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Owners of the Nexus 6P will be happy to know their devices will be receiving the quietly available Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow software system update.The recent Google OS update Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow which is currently rolling out exclusively to Nexus devices, and some of its highlights include newly added emojis. The update will introduce over 200 fresh emojis and will implement a whole new Nexus 6P layout for the handsets' owners. Some of the emojis present in the update include flags, sports and food. In addition, the update also comes with a new Google Keyboard, along with a shortcut for camera launch which involves double-tapping the power key.Aside from the new Android Marshmallow features, the Nexus 6P will receive the vital security patch.Compared to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, the Android 6.0.1 does not bring dramatic improvements. Android 6.0.1 brings minor improvements to the Marshmallow 6.0's battery management feature by reducing overnight power consumption to only four or five percent. It brings fixes for the text messaging and picture bugs, as well as improved Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.It is recommended that once the update is available for update, Nexus 6P owners should charge up their battery power to at least 50% and have stable Wi-Fi connection in place.
