In case yours isn’t, go to the settings and if your handset has an update, you’ll automatically see the notification in the notification bar. This may be the simplest way to receive updates on your smartphone. The updates will automatically download and you’ll be informed when it is ready to roll.

2. Method II – Manually

Update Now – In case you haven’t gotten an update in your handset and you need to check one; first go to the settings, select the general tab. From there scroll down to the bottom and you’ll find device info. Click on that to enter another menu. After this, you’ll be able to see the ‘Update Now’ option on your right at the top. Further down you’ll be able to see the ‘Auto Update’ option. If it’s unchecked, tap on it to see if there is an update of your handset of not.
