The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update was supposed to be sent out to the Honor 7 owners sometime back in February. Obviously that didn't happen, well not for everybody. But good news at last, as some users of the handset, particularly those in Europe will be getting their ticket to Marshmallow goodness.

Honor took to their European Twitter page to announce the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, which has already began hitting Honor 7 handsets around the continent.

Though a detailed change log was not provides, you can look forward to the assortment of awesome features Android 6.0 Marshmallow has to offer. Just to mention a handful, there will be a new app drawer, Google Now on Tap, better screen lock features, Doze mode and others.

As with most major updates, the Android 6.0 roll-out should be in phases thus you will need to be a little patient. But of course, you can also check your settings to see if you already have the OTA update ready for download.
