There’s good news for Google’s first-party Android keyboard. Users can now choose from a wider variety of colored themes. Previously, only two options were available (‘material light’ and ‘material dark’), which left a lot to be desired. For users who love a bit of color, there are new grey and black options to get started with. The update can be downloaded right now from the Google Play Store.Earlier in May, Google introduced one of the biggest updates to its stock keyboard. They added a one-hand typing mode, and options for users to select between borderless and bordered keys, among many other improvements. But this update comes before a major Android OS update. Google is working towards the launch of Android Nougat, which company fanatics speculate will come out round the same time when the company will release its new Nexus devices.Google also added support for 72 emoji that were introduced with Unicode 9.0.
