The Android team had announced at the beginning of the Google I/O developer conference that they were accepting proper name suggestions from users for Android N. The company even went ahead to launch a naming page for users to easily submit their name ideas. It is still unknown if the company plans to pick a name for its upcoming Android OS based on what name suggestion has appeared the most or the choice will simply be random. The naming page is also no longer accessible for name submissions.Android took to their Twitter page to reveal that a new name for the Android N OS will be disclosed in the coming weeks. Though the timeline is somewhat vague, we are hoping to see the Android N name unveiled towards the end of June or the beginning of July.No clues were provided as to what the choice name would be. Android has an history of naming their OS versions after desserts, but most of the suggestions submitted on the naming page shift from this direction, with entries such as Noodles, Naan, and Nachos been seen. What do you think will be the choice name for Android N?
