It’s party time for LG owners as the Android 6.0 Marshmallow gets to rollout on their devices. XDA developers autoprime just launched the firmware for Android 6.0 Marshmallow and you can now flash it at your pleasure. However, before going haywire with joy, there are several things you need to know first.
To begin with, this firmware is only meant for the LG G4 H815 as it is the international smartphone version. Two, flashing this software is not easy as users must have an installed TWRP 2.8.7+, which will require you to have an unlocked bootloader via LG’s official tool for unlocking.
Rule number three is that you should know what you are doing before you go about tinkering with your device as there are risks involved such as voiding your precious warranty or even harming your hard-earned device.

You’ll be required to have the following list of requirements: LG-H81520A-Flashable.System.zip, LG-H81520A-Flashable.Boot.zip, LG-H81520A-Flashable.Modem.zip, LG-H81520A-Flashable.Bootloader.zip and a Codefire directory.
When updating from Lollipop, you’ll require to flash the system then boot the zips. Other options may be the Bootloader and Modem. Flashing the 4 zips is however recommended, beginning with the Bootloader after which any other order after that can be followed.
You are cautioned against wiping the system partition till after you’ve flashed the bootloader.
Keep in mind that with all the risks involved, this venture should only be dared by the software gurus.
