Owners of the Droid Turbo 2 finally have a reason to smile. This is after Verizon made an announcement that it has started pushing out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the handset. As a recent soak test suggested, the update appears to be made up of two parts, with one upgrading the Droid Turbo 2 to a 24.14.10 software version as well as the boost to Marshmallow. In terms of the features to look forward to with the update, all the Marshmallow goodness which includes things such as the Doze mode and native app permissions, will be added. Verizon also added that the update will apply the latest security patches as well. Considering the update roll out has just began, you are advised to be patient as it may take a little while to hit all Droid Turbo 2 devices.
