OnePlus and Cyanogen may have have cut ties almost a year ago, but that doesn't mean that they have forgotten about their priorities to their OnePlus One handset. Customers still rocking the OnePlus One flagship smartphone have a reason to brag, as the Marshmallow treat is arriving for their devices.The Chinese based startup has recently made an announcement stating that the OnePlus One will now get a chance to taste the feature-packed Marshmallow update, thanks to Cyanogen OS 13 which is based on the Android 6.0 software. The update has already begun rolling out, therefore there is a possibility that some users already have it. If you haven't received the OTA update notification then check for it manually in your Software update section under Settings.However, if the update hasn't yet shown up on your OnePlus One handset then remember patience is a virtue. The update won't immediately reach everyone, as it usually rolls out in phases.The Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Cyanogen OS 13 based on will bring with it all the Marshmallow update features along with improvements you'd expect. With the inclusion of features such as Google Now on Tap, granular app permissions, Doze battery saving mode and a lot more.

What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
