Motorola is now pushing out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow updates to Moto X Play owners in Canada and India regions. However, the update download currently only weighs in at a measly 338MB, so we are not really expecting a huge number of changes. Perhaps this is because an Android 6.0 update had been previously rolled out to the Moto X Play users in Canada back in January with those in India receiving theirs in January. Nonetheless, it appears that the company has chosen to avail an upgrade to 6.0.1 to its handset as well. Mostly Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow only packs the latest emoji collection, though the update will also ensure that Motorola's Moto X Play is up to date in terms of security with the latest March Android security patch also included. Motorola has also added some of its own tweaks onto the update as well. For example, double pressing the power button will now launch the main camera app, and the camera shutter's sound has been changed too. The update also comes with a few miscellaneous improvements to handset's stability for a smoother running experience.
