After Samsung rolled out its Marshmallow update to its Galaxy S6 in India, the company has now pushed out a similar update for its Galaxy Note 5 in the same country. The Android update is attached with a N920GDDU2BPC4 version number and comes weighing a hefty 1.27GB, thus its recommended that you have a stable Wi-Fi connection. The features of the Marshmallow update are virtually similar to the one that landed in the country for the Galaxy S6. Samsung has also included the latest tweaks to its TouchWiz UI, a new web browser along with a couple of new animations. As for Marshmallow, expect its core features including advanced app permissions, Google Now on Tap, Doze mode among others. It is worth mentioning that this update upgrades the S6 device direct to Android 6.0.1, so also expect a full assortment of the latest emojis. Whilst other regions saw the launch of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, India was among the major countries that saw the release of the Galaxy Note 5. So its hardly a surprise that Samsung decided to work hard to push out the update in India, after only a month ago releasing the update to US and Korea. If the OTA update notification hasn't hit your Note 5, then navigate over to your device's Settings >> About device >> Software update to check its availability.
