In this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, much is expected as there have been a great number of inventions in the past year by various companies worldwide. Over the Christmas period, most people bought new devices as gifts to their friends and relatives most of them considering the latest in the market. Samsung is one of the big companies which all eyes are looking at to see what they have for the consumers in this year’s annual show.Â There are also other emerging software and electronic developers who are expected to show up and hit the competitive market. So as the consumers, what new technology do we expect this year? Have a look at some of the three technology trends that we are likely to see.
New smartphone models
Samsung, LG and Sony are projected to unveil some of the new models. With the rumours about the companies competing in construction of new smartphone looks, we should expect all of them to be well prepared to hit the smartphone market. Microsoft and Apple have been known in avoiding this show but that even provides more competition among the rest of the companies. Samsung is expected to unveil the Samsung galaxy S6 which we had rumours about late last year. Sony on the other hand could hit the market with its branded Walkman device which will be an addition to the Xperia. If the posters in CES hall are right, LG are believed to be having a smartphone by the name G Flex 2.
Ultra High Definition
Each year, we get new TV brands which have a well improved slim look from the previous ones. The major TV brands are Sony, LG and Samsung. This year, we expect to get curved TV screen that is the HD TV sets, 3D TV and also those which can connect well to the internet. We are in the error of UHD and most customers are expected to purchase some of these sets.
Car makers have not been left behind as they focus in bringing up some of the automated cars. The makers include Volkswagen, BMW, Ford, Mercedes among others. Mercedes are expecting launch a self-driving car which is so much awaited. Other technology improvements on cars to be expected are the laser technology (for BMW).Â Toyota is also expected to have cars with hydrogen cells.
