This week, on our weekly news roundup: more leaks and rumors of the Galaxy S10 series are now here - this time with more detail, front panel leak of the XZ4 reveals a big part of its design, and more!

Photos of upcoming OnePlus device leaked

A couple of days ago, Ishan Agarwal who is a famous leakster posted this photo of an upcoming OnePlus device. It's still a prototype which means that the final product may look different. We still don't know which model it is. But, if we have to take a guess, we'll have to go with OnePlus 7. Most likely, this will be the 5G smartphone that OnePlus has been talking about. It seems like this model will come with a Motorola like design to it. The Camera on the back is most certainly cut out in that way. While we are on the camera, this seems to be a dual setup with an LED flash on that tiny gap.The rumors are saying that OnePlus will officially announce this phone in the second quarter of 2019. Till then, all we can do is wait and look at the various rumors + leaks. We'll keep you updated if we find out anything else.

Survey reveals that people prefer a headphone jack over pretty much anything else

Most smartphone users have been consistently upset with the fact that various manufacturers are removing the headphone jack from their devices. As of recently, OnePlus started shipping the OnePlus 6T without a headphone jack and this is the first time ever that they decide not to include a headphone jack in one of their devices. According to them, it was a necessary sacrifice for the in-display fingerprint scanner. And it's not just OnePlus. Even Samsung that has been known to keep around the headphone jack for a very long time just announced their first phone without it. As if that wasn't enough, certain rumors are also saying that the S10 will come without a headphone jack as well. With all of that being said, it's no surprise that Phone Arena decided to perform a small survey where they asked their readers if they'd like to sacrifice the headphone jack in favor of an in-display fingerprint scanner. To the massive surprise of nobody, the vast majority of the voters prefer the headphone jack with a traditional fingerprint scanner. Only about 1/3 of those who participated are willing to sacrifice the headphone jack.Us, we just don't see what the whole fuss is about. True, a headphone jack can come in handy. But, it's 2018 and finding Bluetooth earphones is easier than ever. Not to mention that they are easier to carry around and that you don't have to worry about damaging the cables.

Pornhub reveals that they get more Android visitors

An ongoing battle between Apple and Android fans has been going on for ages now. For some reason, instead of enjoying their devices in peace, both sides are trying to convince each other that one platform is superior to the other. Not sure if there is a clear winner, but we now know that we surely win at one thing: visiting Pornhub. As you can see in the image above, Android users consist 54.4% of Pornhub's mobile visitors while Apple users are at 44.4%.Though, to be fair, the Android ecosystem allows multiple manufacturers to use it. Samsung, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Huawei, OnePlus, only to mention some of them. iOS, on the other hand, can only be used with Apple devices like the iPhone series. So, we clearly have an "unfair" advantage over here. And interestingly enough, more than 70% of all Pornhub visitors are using mobile devices with 20% of them being Desktop users and the rest 10% Tablet users. As for browsers, the vast majority of us seem to prefer Chrome with a percentage of 41%. Safari is at 40% but we assume that this is mostly about Apple devices. The rest of the browsers that are available right now only get a small percentage.Well, that was interesting. Guess that when it comes to porn, nobody can beat us. And just to clarify, we're not talking about Updato but the whole Android community, alright?

Apple posts a tweet by using an Android device

Remember when Samsung used an Apple device to post a promo tweet? Yeah, about that, it seems like the tables have turned as Apple Music was recently caught using an Android device to post a tweet.https://twitter.com/MKBHD/status/1075007491262607361Now, some may argue that this is actually Apple Music which is available for both Android and Apple devices. So, technically speaking, it doesn't matter what product you're using since you're just promoting a service. But, Apple is still Apple and iTunes is a product that belongs to them. With all of that being said, it's no surprise that both sides are kinda laughing with this whole situation. Different manufacturers who are using the products of their competitors seems to be turning a common occurrence nowadays and we see nothing wrong with it.We may not see anything wrong with it, but companies sure seem to do. Samsung deleted not only their tweet but also the whole Twitter account which was used for it.Will the same thing happen with Apple here? Probably not. After all, as we've mentioned above, this is actually Apple Music which makes the situation considerably laxer.

More detailed leaks and rumors about the Galaxy S10 are here

So, we've been looking at rumors and leaks of the Galaxy S10 for a while now. But, this time, we've got a few renders that go deeper into detail.First of all, as you can see in the image above, we'll likely have at least two models - maybe three as well:
  1. Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite
  2. Galaxy S10
  3. Galaxy S10+

Displays and sizes

The Galaxy S10 Lite is going to be the smallest of these devices while the Galaxy S10+ the biggest. To be more precise, the Galaxy S10 will have a 6.1 inch screen while the S10+ will have a 6.4 inch one and both of them will feature a 2K resolution with AMOLED panels.Apart from screen size, it seems like the bigger version will also come with dual selfie cameras instead of a single one. Yes, as you can see, the Infinity-O display idea hasn't changed. We're still expecting to see at least one hole in Samsung's next flagship. While we are at the whole notch/whole thing, we understand how many of you are upset about the Galaxy S10 coming with a disguised notch. But, you've got to admit that the bezels are extremely thin.Speaking of which, one can't help but wonder, how in the world will you be able to play full-screen videos without these holes annoying you? Oh well. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Cameras, ports, and connectivity

As mentioned above, the S10 will have a single selfie Camera while the S10+ will have a dual setup. On the rear, both phones will equip a triple setup.Other rumors are saying that the S10+ may even come with a quad camera setup. But, judging by how the Galaxy A9 performed, we somehow highly doubt that.Last, but not least, some rumors also mention that the S10 Lite will only come with a dual rear camera setup instead of the standard triple setup that we're expecting with the S10 series. As for ports and connectivity, the latest rumors are saying that the S10 series will actually have a headphone jack - which contradicts anything else that we've heard previously. Not to mention that the A8s which is the latest phone release from Samsung doesn't actually have a headphone jack. So, guess we'll have to wait and see.We do also have a type-c port but that was to be expected anyway. That's all we know for now. Do keep in mind that those are nothing but rumors and leaks that may or may not be true.  We'll keep you updated if anything else comes up!

Sony Xperia XZ4 front panel leaks shows us an early glimpse of how the final model will look like

This front panel leak of the XZ4 clearly indicates how the phone is going to look design-wise.As you can see, there is no notch to be seen anywhere. That may be a bad thing or a good thing depending on who you're asking.Other than that, the bezels are extremely thin which is objectively awesome. The fact that the bezels are going to be so thin without the presence of a notch is rather impressive as well. The display measures at about 6.5 inches and the aspect ratio seems to be at 21:9. Some of you may argue that this is a bit of a strange aspect ratio but that doesn't change the fact that it's slowly changing into the standard choice for manufacturers.Other rumors are saying that the phone will come with 6 gigs of RAM, the Snapdragon 855 chipset, Android Pie, a 48 MP camera, a microSD card slot, and a hefty price tag.Again, those are nothing but rumors. So, don't take anything for granted just yet. All except the hefty price tag. Sony Xperia flagships have always been rather pricey and chances are that the XZ4 won't be an exception.Feel like we got forgot something important? Got anything wrong?
