A very bright theme featuring white and blue – that’s what has characterized the official Twitter client on all platforms. If you’re one of those people who sometimes stay up late reading tweets, this predominant theme can make things a little more difficult. But that’s about to change.Twitter is adding a night mode to its Android app, through an upcoming update. The company previously rolled out an extensive A/B testing with a small group of users. The update will now be available to all device users on the platform. It can be activated through a new toggle available in the navigation menu. Once night mode is active, the dark hem applies all aspects of the app, including settings and compose screen sections.Android has a system plug that allows app developers to switch the theme based on the time of day. However, Twitter isn’t using this feature. That’s unfortunate because devices can’t switch automatically. But hopefully, twitter will add this later. As of now, Twitter Android app’s night mode is still rolling on the server side, so not everyone has received it.
