Eldar Murtazin, the Russian analyst, has taken onto his twitter account the fact that Samsung’s new operating system Tizen was not just delayed, but that it is dead.

Tizen is almost dead. It isn’t delay. That’s cancel of the whole project. I doubt that samsung will launch more than one device for 2014. @eldarmurtazin
A few of days ago, the Korean reporters announced that Samsung has delayed the launch of the very first Tizen smartphones for 2 months. However, if we take for granted what the Russian blogger has to say, it means that the entire Tizen plan will no longer be followed more than maybe one phone, for the sake of the “delay” that the company has announced.
Lately, the analyst hasn’t made the most accurate statements in some matters, so we might as well give Samsung here the benefit of the doubt, at least until the company makes another official announcement. It is, indeed, hard to believe that the tech giant will give up this important project that they’ve been working on for a while now.
