Nowadays, in the industry of smartphones there is a tendency of creating them bigger and bigger with the purpose of supporting more and more technology. However, when it comes to computers, the tendency is, on the contrary, to make mobile computers lighter, more adjustable, easy to carry, even on the user's body. Samsung Electronics' strategy chief, Young Sohn, has given us a glimpse of the concepts on which their new vision is based in a video played a couple of days ago at the beginning of the MobileBeat conference, that took place in San Francisco. The video is about a woman who is using her smartphone in order to obtain health data, with the help of a disposable sensor, data shown afterwards to her doctor. Youns Sohn suggests that health is a key issue in the field of innovation, taking into consideration the fact that people are getting more and more aware of the possibilities that could be capitalized. Although at the conference there were only 10% of the people wearing a device like that, the strategy chief assures us that this figure will grow along with the new wave of wearable devices implemented into clothing, glasses, watches and many other products.
