We recently came across new information about the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 3 — the successor to the ROG Phone and ROG Phone 2. Both devices were absolute beasts for their time and it looks like the situation isn't going to be very different for the newer variant.

So, let us take a closer look at it. Shall we?

Asus's ROG Phone 3 Specs Are Now Revealed

According to our sources, these specs come from the NCC certification of the ROG Phone 3. As far as the design is concerned, while we barely have any legitimate to show you, the phone expected to look more or less the same with the ROG Phone 2. One of the main differences, though, is that the camera is going to be a triple setup instead of a dual one.

ROG Phone 2

And when it comes to specs, to the massive surprise of, well, nobody, the ROG Phone 3 will come with the Snapdragon 865 Plus, 512 gigabytes of storage, and a massive 6,000 mAh battery!

These are the good news. Because on the downside, it looks like we're not getting wireless charging — possibly due to the cooling system that the ROG series utilizes. And we understand that this may be for a good reason but it's still a shame when you consider that we're looking at a high-end device.

That's all the sort of "official" information that we have for now. When it comes to rumors, we can almost safely assume that the gaming phone is going to come with a high-refresh display, a triple camera, and possibly even 64 gigs of memory!

This is obviously nothing but pure speculation at this point. So take most of it with a grain of salt. Though, chances are that we'll indeed see at least a high-refresh-rate display. That, along with a decent cooling system is what separates a "normal" smartphone from a gaming one.

Wrapping Up

That's all we have for now. The phone is expected to launch on July 22. So, when the time comes, we'll make sure to let you know about it. Stay tuned!
