After releasing the official update of the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in Poland, a new release in Europe has taken place. Swedish owners of the Galaxy S3 can now officially update their devices to the new Jelly Bean OS.Step-by-step, more and more Galaxy S3 users can feel the slick touch of the Android 4.1. Who knows what the next country to get the update will be...The US is on the list for a soon update and South Korea already got the update. Soon hopefully everybody will be able to update to the new OS.The Android 4.1 version released in Sweden is numbered Android 4.1.1 I9300XXDLIH. the update is most probably available only for unbranded devices. But that shouldn't stop you to update your Galaxy S3, because you also have to option to install a custom ROM that developers released especially for you. All you need is some courage to root your Galaxy S3 and you can update it to Android 4.1.2.Until further notice, have fun playing on your Samsung Galaxy S3.

What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
