Seemingly, Sony has been a having a difficult time in making clear update plans. Late last year, the Japanese company disclosed that a few of its devices would jump Android 5.1 Lollipop OS update and go straight to the 6.0 Marshmallow software version, however along the way something seems to have changed.Among the Sony handsets scheduled for the update is Sony Xperia C4 but just today the web has been spreading about an Android 5.1 Lollipop update. This is may be a little dissapointing to owners of the C4 who were already expecting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow but they can take the comfort of the company's forward-thinking move as well as its commitment to keep the handset comparatively up-to-date. Maybe this means that users can get to enjoy the Lollipop operating system as they await the Android 6.0 update. The Android 5.1 update software is rolling out to only 5 of the 6 Xperia C4 versions, with the E5343 model being excluded for some reason. However, both the standard Xperia C4 and C4 Dual do apply to this update. The update will come in 27.2.A.0.155 and 27.2.B.0.155 build number versions, respectively. If you own the 5 out of 6 Xperia C4 versions and you haven't yet received the update notification, you can check for the updates in your device settings.
