It seems that the release of a Jelly Bean update for Samsung's Galaxy S2, Note and Note 10.1  is soon to come, as November appears to be the correct month. A certain date is not yet available, but it is inevitable to be made public these days.The first device to receive the Android 4.1 update are the factory unlocked device as usual. That's because the carrier locked device have to be tested for system compatibility first.Bringing Android 4.1 to Samsung Galaxy S2, Note and Note 10.1 will increase the responsiveness of the UI and the performance of the voice recognition engine. Other new features of the Android 4.1 are: upgraded notification bar, more than one home screen modes and a modified Settings menu to enhance accessibility and make it easier to be used.Up till now, Sweden is the only country where we know the availability date of Android 4.1.

What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
