India is a country that must be followed in the upcoming years. It has a population of 1.2 billion people and it has low cost IT and outsourcing services, main fields in which India is a well known player. Its economy is growing and it is in TOP 10 in the world.
Trust Research Advisory, a brand intelligence company, in their last Brand Trust Report 2014, Samsung was the most trusted company in India. Samsung took the number one from Nokia and also came ahead Sony and TATA, a big Indian car company. The study was made on 2505 companies from 16 different cities.
This is not a big surprise, as Samsung became in 2013 the largest handset manufacturer in the world. Also, it overtook Nokia becoming the most profitable handset vendor. In 2013, Samsung sold over 322 million handset devices, over a third from the whole global market.
In this rhythm, probably 2014 will be still Samsung's year.
