The Samsung Galaxy S4 is almost the same size and wight as the Galaxy S3, but it has a small difference: it is thinner. However, the battery capacity of the new model increased about 5 times which is a very good thing for its users.

Samsung Galaxy S4 beats Galaxy S3 at the call test which is the first made. The battery capacity of the new model increased with more than 3 and a half hours. However, Galaxy S4 was beaten by Sony Xperia Z with 2 hours more.

The second test, web browsing test, was a real success for Galaxy S4 which has survived more than Galaxy S3 with more than two hours. The HTC One survived one more hour, probably due to its LCD which is smaller than than the screen of Galaxy S4.
AMOLED screens have very good result at video playback tests, but Galaxy S4 isn’t far better than the galaxy S3. However, it is offering very nice colors and contrasts and its score of over 10 hours it is very good.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a very good endurance rating which rises up to 63 hours due to a very efficient standby and very good performances in the individual categories. The battery will last for a long time is you do a hour of calling, web browsing and watching videos every day.
With all those tests, Galaxy S4 is a real success if we think about its battery lifetime. No matter of your personal usage and what you use the phone for, the new model of Samsung is far better than Galaxy S3.
