Design

The Galaxy Note 5 may follow a slightly similar design with the Galaxy S smartphones. After the launch of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, Samsung is on another right path to launching another awesomely built smartphone.  A Note 5 image from Tencent showed what the device would look like. It looks like an oversized Galaxy S6, however, it does have its unique features.

According to the digital model, the smartphone dimensions are 123.44mm x 77.31mm x 10.2mm with a 5.7 inch screen. The size is a little larger and bigger than usual.

Display

There are different beliefs that are revolving around the Galaxy Note 5’s screen. A while ago, it was believed that Sammy was testing both the 4K and 2K displays. The latest reports state that the smartphone could’ve a (2560 x 1440p) QHD Super Amoled Display measuring 5.89 inches.

Specifications

The rumored specifications aren’t very solid. But it is known that the deice will carry a Snapdragon 808 processors, an awesome S-Pen, a 8 MP front facing camera, a 16 MP rear camera and a 16GB of internal memory storage. This is interesting as the device has an awfully similar handset to the Galaxy S6 Edge plus.

One of the vital features rumored on the Note 5 is the inclusion of the USB-C connector. This would make the Note 5 the very first mainstream Android handset to have the latest generation USB. This could be a pretty huge deal.

Another huge deal is the Galaxy Note 5 getting rid of the expandable storage support. The device will also feature a non-removable battery and this could be a huge deal when making your decision to purchase the next Note series.

Camera

We do not know much about the Note 5’s camera aside that it has a 16MP shooter with optical image stabilization. The front camera is rumored to be 8 megapixels. The camera is expected to be as good as that of the S6.

Software

The Note 5 will lots of software features. You’ll find the usual S-Pen features including, handwriting recognition, Screen Write, Smart Select, Action Memo and much more. We expect the Note 5 to come with the most recent version of Android, that’s, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Release Date

According to rumors, the Galaxy Note 5 is to be launched at IFA; so we expect the announcement to be made on September.
