Samsung's UAProof website is the first confirmation of the first Samsung device that will run on the Tizen OS. The device is apparently named Samsung Redwood GT-I8805 and it is LTE-ready. Both the fact that a Tizen device will surface during mid 2013 and the name 'Redwood' were already floating around the internet, so this doesn't come as a huge surprise. Yet it is still cool to see that Tizen is getting closer and closer.By now the only specifications known are the 720p display screen and a Cortex A9 SoC processor and will have LTE enabled. The screen size is unknown yet. This are not high-en specifications though as Samsung uses in their latest flagships. We can expect Samsung Redwood sometime at the end of July but the date can certainly be a little further ahead. You can also check Samsung's UAProof website to see the info for yourself.
