1Samsung made an aggressive move on the smartphone market. It just made a huge price cut on it's overpriced Samsung Galaxy Golden, a device that was launched last year, but which was very expensive. The price cut is $330. The new price now is $500 at Flipkart retailer. Even if Samsung made this move, the price cut hasn't made a wow impact in the market as it only features a two displays design and long form factor ( that was abandoned my manufacturers on this market from some years ago))Galaxy Golden features two 3.7 inch SUPER AMOLED displays at a resolution of 800x480.  The processor is a dual-core  1.7 GHz Qualcomm MSM8930 with 1.5 GB of RAM. The device has a back camera of 8 MP and a 1.9 MP front camera. It's memory has a 16 GB capacity with microSD slot card. The software is 4.2 Jelly Bean with at 1820 mAh battery. So, even if with this price changes we don't expect Galaxy Golden to bring fantastic earnings, as it seems that it isn't a desired device for now. Maybe with an upgrade it will have a bigger success.
