Stay tuned for more details on this.
Oppo R9 DesignThe Oppo R9 heavily embraced the design language found on its predecessors, the Oppo R7 and the Oppo R7s. Embodied with 5.5 inches of AMOLED display, the R9 features a metal unibody construction. In terms of thickness, it sits at 6.6 millimetres which a bit thinner compared to the 6.95 mm thick Oppo R7s. Oppo claims that because the phone has a mere 1.66mm of distance between the frame and display, then it could easily appear as a 4.2-inch device.
Oppo R9 SpecsThe Oppo R9 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 octa core processor with 64 bit. This is complemented with 4 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64 GB which can be expanded up to 128 GB, thanks to its microSD support. In the battery department, the Oppo R9 delivers a disappointing 2,850 mAh capacity in contrast to the Oppo R7 which was equipped with a larger battery of 3,070 mAh capacity. Oppo says that the R9 battery will last you up to 14 hours on a single charge with an half-hour of charge, rapidly charging up to 70 percent of the battery life. Another interesting feature added to the Oppo R9, is fingerprint scanner. Oppo R9 is the first ever smartphone from the manufacturer to bundle the finger scanning function. According to Oppo, it has the capability to recognize fingerprints as in just 0.2 seconds and is able function even when its surface is a bit wet.
Oppo R9 Plus DetailsOppo made available the initial details of their R9 Plus, including a battery capacity of 4,120 mAh, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and an AMOLED display standing at 6 inches, Other specifications include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
