Ever since the highly anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat update rolled out last month, Updato has been reporting its release across all regions. The latest region to join the Nougat family is Turkey, which is finally joining the ranks of France, China, India, South Korea, the UAE, and the UK.The firmware update for the flagship devices brings a long list of features not only from Google but some ecstatic visual elements from Samsung’s Grace UX as well. The Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) in Turkey is being updated with firmware version G935FXXU1DQB7, while the Galaxy S7 (SM-930F) is receiving the firmware version G930FXXU1DQB7.

Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 Nougat update to follow soon

Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, and S6 Edge+ users, along with Galaxy Note 5 users in Turkey have some good news heading their way. The Vice President of Samsung Turkey took the stage at Twitter to headline the arrival of Android 7.0 Nougat for older devices.Enlisting the roadmap for the Nougat update for Galaxy devices in Turkey, Samsung plans to release the software update for Galaxy S6, S6 Edge+, and Galaxy Note 5 in the third week of February, while the S6 Edge will be updated by the end of the month.Moreover, the Galaxy A (2016) has also been listed for the Nougat update by May, while the Galaxy J is expected to receive Android 7.0 by the month of July. While these users wait for Nougat, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users can head over to Settings->About phone->Software update->Check for updates and find their latest OTA update.

What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
