The original Nexus 6 was added this week, to Google’s already growing list of devices receiving the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update, which is the latest version of Google’s mobile software system. Other devices already on the list are Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 7 2013, Nexus 9 LTE, Nexus 9 Wi-Fi and Nexus Player, along with a few Android One smartphones. The list of devices are those that can download and flash the update.
If you own one of these devices, you can have access to the flash-friendly updates for Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, you can click the links below. Each of the links leads to a Google-hosted zip file that will have to be added to your phone.
Note that if any of the code names do not look familiar to you, it is recommended that you for the over-the-air update to reach your phone.
