Or where they sit.Earlier this year, Samsung ran an advertisement that tweaked Apple, and iPhone users, over the relatively short battery life and lack of replaceable batteries on iPhones. The ad referred to iPhone users as "wall huggers," because of their need to frequently plug in and recharge.  Samsung Update reported on that story here. Now Samsung is following up on that with ads directly targeted at those "wall huggers." At a few select airports, Samsung is paying for advertising signs posted directly around electrical outlets in passenger waiting areas. The ads inform those plugging in that the Galaxy S5 has an ultra power saving mode, and follow that with the phrase "So you have the power to be anywhere but here." That's probably a tongue-in-cheek reference to Apple's "You're more powerful than you think." advertisements.Initially, these ads will appear at New York's JFK International, and Chicago's O'hare and Midway airports. Whether they appear at other airports may depend on how many iPhone users they drive into frustration, and into Samsung stores.I don't know about you, but I think this is pretty much hilarious. You might or might not like Samsung's phones, but you have to love their ad agency. The new ad can be seen above this post.  The original wall hugger ad is here:
