In two days from now, Samsung is going to hold their Galaxy Premiere 2014 event at the Madison Square Garden in New York. The device that caught our eyes for this event is the Galaxy Tab S which announces itself to be a big icebreaker.
For starters we know that the Galaxy Tab S will be the first device that will have a WQXGA Super AMOLED display, at 2560×1600 resolution, and the first tablet with a fingerprint sensor. We also know that the Galaxy Tab S will have an octa-core Exynos 5 SoC with four Cortex A15 cores clocked at 1.9GHz and four Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz, 3 GB of RAM, 8 MP camera with full HD recording.
The connectivity technology is also in line with the power, having WiFi 802.11ac, an IR blaster (to use with Samsung Watch ON), MicroUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, etc.
