samsung_galaxy_SIIIGotta Be Mobile has reported that the long waited Jelly Bean 4.2.2 version of Android update for the Galaxy S3 will be released this month. This update was previously reported as postponed, but good news for the Galaxy S3 owners that this July they will finally and officially get their hands on it, if they didn't already access it through the leaked version of the 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. This update is bringing along with it new features for the Galaxy S3 that make its owner want more of it and upgrade the device with the Galaxy S4. But if you're momentarily just fine with the Galaxy S3, it is not a regretable choice, since the Jelly Beann 4.2.2 brings with it some features that until now, only the Galaxy S4 was having them, such as Smart Pause and Smart Scroll.
Rumour has it that this official update may not be the exact same thing as the leaked version already circulating among users. It seems that owners with the unofficial version of the update lack the new lockscreen, the new camera features, S-Voice and the Voice controls that the legit version includes for the Galaxy S3.The majority's opinion is divided into two: some think this update will bring a lot of change for the good and others think that it might be in vain, since most of the carriers in the United States won't even manage to distribute it to their users in real time. Among the US carriers, it seems that Sprint has the best reputation in terms of the velocity at which it brings the updates to its users.
