One of the key debuting features of the Galaxy Note 7 is Samsung Cloud, and the company is bringing it to other devices. After rolling out Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge update in Italy, the company has launched the same for Indian users.

Samsung is pushing out a 150MB firmware update file to not only introduce its home-grown cloud storage service but security patches as well. Since this is the first OTA update for the S7 and S7 Edge in months for Indian users, it comes with security fixes from July and August.

Apart from the necessary security patches from Google, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge update brings battery improvements with Smart Manager. Moreover, better performance from games that use Vulkan API and a fix for the buggy flashlight app is expected.
