As the Android fans await HTC releasing its first iteration of Nexus devices, HTC One E8 Marshmallow update is out. While unlocked HTC One 38 users have been enjoying the update for months now, users on the Sprint network can finally expect Android 6.0 heading their way.

Despite being an almost two-year-old mid-range device from HTC, users should count their blessings for receiving the latest update. Apart the HTC One E8 Marshmallow update, Sprint has released only a total of three updates for the device in approximately two years.

According to the announcement made by Sprint, the OTA update will roll out in phases and will be completed by August 29. The software version of the latest update is 3.10.651.6, so eligible users should keep their eyes peeled for it.
