Information highlighted on the website says that each new device runs the latest and fastest version of the Android operating system, version 5.1 Lollipop.Visitors to the Android One website who initially saw the text thought it was a typing error. But Android Police confirmed this to be factual later on. Android smartphones shipped within Indonesia were already running on the latest version of the Android operating system (Android 5.1 Lollipop).News of the Android 5.1 Lollipop update from Google hit the web last Wednesday, when Google made the announcement. Android One smartphones will now be available in India by next week. There are also indications that this version of Android might soon be in use in Google Nexus devices. After Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh, Indonesia is the 5th country to have Android One smartphones available.Google’s Vice President of Product Management said that there were partnering with leading partners in Indonesia to make affordable Android smartphones that would retail for less than IDR 1.5 million.At this point in time, no official changelog is available for the latest version of Android.
