All international versions of the Galaxy S3 are receiving the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update as we speak. This is for the GT-I9300 International version only. Samsung Galaxy S3 is the mobile device of the year no doubt here, with the most sales and the biggest popularity all over the world. Some regions and carriers are still updating to Android 4.1.1 and this seems a bit unfair, but Samsung decided to push the update today.

Maybe some of you tried the leaked version of Android 4.1.2 few weeks ago, but for those of you who decided to wait for the official update to come, here’s what Android 4.1.2 offers new:
- Multi Window mode, same as in Galaxy Note 2
- Page Buddy
- Galaxy Note 2’s Gallery app
- Possibility to customize the Notification Panel
- Smart Rotation
- Paper Artist app
- Group Case app
The update will arrive to all devices via OTA or with Samsung Kies. If you didn’t receive the update yet, don’t worry because these things usually take a lot of time. The update comes in more waves to different regions. However you should get the latest update in no time.
