Just two weeks ago we received news that the Galaxy Note 2 was sold in over 3 million units since its release. That was already a record for the Note series. Now, we hear that Samsung has shipped already 5 million units. That’s almost double in less than a month.

WE can say that in two months since its release, the Note 2 is heading towards a great success. And we’re not talking about a cheap phone either. Samsung is going to make a lot of money out of it. Of course, Galaxy Note 2 is also available in 128 countries, so there’s one explanation for the device’s success. But still, the first Note needed 5 months to reach the same number of sales.

Samsung is doing well with the other models as well, being the number one smartphone seller in Q3 also thanks to the Galaxy S3 that has already been sold in 30 million units. In the awaiting of the results of Q4 we can say that Samsung is competing for the first place once again.
