galaxy-megaSamsung is preparing to launch a completely new range of devices, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 and 5.8, two devices that target the large screen smartphone market. The launch was expected to be at the end of May, knowing that the devices were revealed in April. According to recent reports though, the release was delayed until July, the reasons being undetermined. This news is based on what retailers have announced on their websites, like the UK Carphone Warehouse that says July will be the first month to sell the Mega devices. Netherlands retailers also say they will sell the Mega 6.3 at the beginning of July and the 5.8 at the end of July. Both devices have mid-range specs, with the 6.3 inched one being slightly more powerful. They are both expected to come out with Android 4.2.2 and some of Samsung's newest features that can be found on the S4.It seems that Samsung really believes in large screened smartphones, with the Galaxy Note 3 release closing in also, but what will people have to say about this it remains to be seen. Knowing that at 7 inches it's already a tablet I'm curious how the Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be seen by the audience.
