1Samsung, the South Korean manufacturer, just sent out invitations for a media event called Media Day, where they will launch the new Galaxy K. This device is the former known Galaxy S5 Zoom. We think that Samsung chose to change the name of the S5 Zoom, as the S4 Zoom was not a so inspired name. The sure thing is that we are eager to see the new camera/smartphone hybrid from Samsung. The new Galaxy K specs are similar to the specs of the Galaxy S5, S5 is an interesting device and if you put a decent shooter to those specs you have the new K at a decently price. The K features a 20.2 MP camera with 10x optical zoom. These camera specs will give decent photos and even videos. K will have a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED screen with 1280x720p resolution. The processor will be a hexa-core Exynos formed from two 1.5 GHz Cortex A15 cores and four 1.3 GHz Cortex- A7 cores. Galaxy K will have 2 GB of RAM and 2 MP front camera. The software will be a Android 4.4.2. The ultimate feature is a microSD slot card that supports up to 128 GB.As for the price we don't have any information yet. The design probably will be similar to the S4 Zoom, just a little thinner. What do you think about the new generation of Galaxy? It will K make a difference?
