samsung-galaxy-ace-2Jelly Bean 4.1.2 (XXME1) finally arrived for Galaxy Ace 2 GT-I8160P with lots of changes in the interface and performance. Owners of this device now have something to be happy about because such an update really brings your device back to life.Samsung introduced their Touch Wiz Nature UX interface, yet it is not entirely the same as the one used on the Galaxy S3 or other devices that got it with the latest update. As overall performance, the update makes the device somewhat faster and more responsive while also providing better battery life.Currently the update is rolling out in Germany carrying version number XXME1. So if you live there, you can check out for updates using Kies or you can wait for an OTA. Other countries are about to follow so don't worry if you are left a little behind. If you have a little experience in manually installing official firmwares though, you can go ahead and download the Germany version from here - download I8160PXXME1_I8160PDBTME1_DBT.zip - and then follow our tutorial about how to manually install an official firmware using Odin. Just be careful to follow all the steps correctly.
