A few weeks after the first update rolled out for Moto Z, the Verizon-branded Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force update follow. Released in July, both variants of Motorola’s flagship came with Marshmallow right out of the box and June security patch. Both flagship devices only differ in battery capacity, thickness and durability. Hence, it seems natural that the update rolled out by Motorola is similar for both the devices. Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force update comes with the build number MCL24.246-36 and packs a 436MB file size.Although Verizon users are already receiving the update across the US, the company has not sent out an official announcement. While the software version may not be eligible for an update soon, enhancements and improvements can be expected.Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force updateHowever, users report that the security patch with this update is dated for July. Since most current generation devices and some older devices already carry the August patch, Verizon definitely needs to speed up.If you are among the lucky users who are expecting the Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force update, expect it to reach you in a couple of days.
