OnePlus Nord and OnePlus Nord CE are two of the company’s new generation mid-rangers. Recently this week, both the devices saw the launch of a new firmware that focuses more on improving the overall performance.

The new firmware updates the original OnePlus Nord to the 11.1.5.5 version of the OxygenOS, while the same for Nord CE is OxygenOS 11.0.6.6. The build, however, is different for different regions.

Talking about the new features, it is pretty evident you expect the usual Android 11 goodies like one-time permissions, chat bubbles, and more. Apart from that, you’ll be experiencing the whole new One UI 3.1 together with the August 2021 patch’s better security.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 devices in Brazil are receiving a new firmware that features the August 2021 security patch. Aiming to resolve more than 40 vulnerabilities, the update with version number A515FXXU5EUG7 is available for the devices that are currently locked in Claro, TIM, and Vivi networks.

RealMe C21 Receives the Android 11 based RealMe UI 2.0

Having been launched in March and the Android 12 lurking around the corner, it was quite disruptive for the RealMe C21 users to be running the Android 11 for that long.  The wait is finally over as the devices are now set to get their share of Android 11. Currently exclusive in India, the new firmware with version number RMX3201_11_C.02 features the brand new RealMe UI 2.0.

The new update brings in a whole lot of changes that extend from the performance section to the UI customization perspective. The firmware rocks the security section introducing the August 2021 security patch.

The size of the new firmware sees a variable nature. Those who were using the public beta received the package of around 500MB, while the same is expected to rest a bit on the higher side for other users.

The entire acne with Atomic Memory is all about optimizing RAM usage. This will eventually allow the devices to keep more apps running in the background with no issues whatsoever. Liquid Storage, on the other hand, deals with keeping the internal memory optimum. As per the official sources, these changes will let the devices be at 95% of the original state even after three years of usage.
