Samsung Releases the First Beta (One UI 4.5) For the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Series

Remember when Samsung announced the first-ever public beta program for its Galaxy Watch4 series (including Galaxy Watch4 Classic)? Well, you surely do if you follow us every week. But whatever might be the case, the first week of June has seen its release.

June 2nd marks the date when the first beta build for wearables has made its authentic appearance. The firmware is labeled One UI Watch 4.5 and is entirely based on Wear OS 3.5.

Keep in mind that the enrollment program seems to be exclusive for users in South Korea and the US.

How to Participate?

  • To participate, you'll need to visit the Samsung Members app. You can do that on a Samsung phone linked to the watch.
  • In case you reside in the eligible region, you'll find a specific banner inside the Members app that typically highlights the beta program.
  • From there, deal with the registration and required pieces of stuff.

What's New?

  • This new firmware comes with a brilliant user interface for dual-SIM functionality.
  • After the update, you'll also experience more optimized and improved notifications alongside the support for the subtext field.
  • Other additions include enhancements to the built-in keyboard. The same now features flexible support for voice input and also handwriting.
  • Last but not least, the new firmware brings more options for setting alarms.

Samsung Brings New Camera Features to Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3

Galaxy Flip 3

Samsung is adding new features to the Galaxy S22 camera, and they've started with foldable phones. In May of this year (2019), Samsung announced these updates for older models like their newest release -the Z Fold 3 & Flip 5 Pro Mode.

The addition of night photography with a telephoto lens in portrait mode offers stunning and bright portraits during the darkness. The update brings enhanced video calls; users will get auto picture adjustment that provides zoom-in & out tracking by knowing up to 10 people within 5 meters distance.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 users will be able to take better quality pictures with the camera enhancement, default apps, and social media. Recently Samsung enhanced photo editing on their latest foldable phone models by adding Expert RAW app support!

The update is now available in Europe, starting with Germany and Italy. Don't worry; in case you're not from these regions, you will soon receive it on your device too! The firmware version for the new update sits to be F926BXXU1CVEB for Fold 3 smartphones, whereas another one (F711) covers Flip 3 models as well.

Head to Settings > Software Update section if you want the updates on your smartphone.

June's Feature Drop is Here

With Apple's WWDC event fresh in our minds, Google is now rolling out its June update for Pixel phones. The latest software brings features-drop that was previously available on their QPR beta build and had only been enabled by invitation before this month's launch date.

The update features easy access to proof of vaccination within supported regions! Now that's something pretty cool. Another highlight includes At A Glance being added from the Lock Screen. A feature like, Live Translate bringing several new languages alive through voice assistance, is also brilliant. It serves as a one-touch Translation tool right where you need them most.

This June's update includes Google's latest security patches and a comprehensive list of bug fixes. Among those is the company's app Gboard which sees some updates to its features or functionality.

Call Screen will now work even when your phone screen itself isn't turned on (a great feature if you're accidentally muted); incoming calls can automatically answer in certain circumstances, too!

There are also general optimizations for battery life under certain conditions - which means more time catching up on notifications without worrying about running out before the end-of-day arrives at the last check.

Google is rolling out its latest update, which includes fixes for the camera and UI. The new software also contains stability improvements to Bluetooth connections as well!

Google Releases Android 13 Beta 3

firmware news android

We're drawing close to Android 13 as the Beta 3 makes its way in. With Beta 3, Android 13 has reached Platform Stability! This is a significant milestone for app developers because it means that all of their behaviors in the OS and APIs are now final. Most would want to start working on compatibility with this new version knowing there won't be any changes after release until nexus arrives next year.

The beta 3 release brings us one step closer to true stability on Google's platform, which will provide greater peace of mind when developing or updating apps, among other things such as an improved user experience.

Enroll your device in Android 13 beta 3 to get the latest update! If you have already enrolled, just wait for it - this new build will be available soon.
