Samsung Galaxy M31s Gets Android 12 Updates Featuring One UI 4.1

The name Samsung popping up, again and again, isn't an unusual sight, especially when we're talking about firmware updates. Just like every other week, this one starts with the latest Samsung phone, Galaxy M31s, getting the brand new Android 12 firmware. 

In case you remember, the smartphone was initially launched with the Android 10 version. 2 years after the release, the users are finally receiving the much-awaited Android version update. 

Talking about the update, in particular, the firmware bears M317FXXU3DVD4 as the version number and brings Samsung's refreshed One UI 4.1 interface. Not just that, post update, the devices' security will also ramp up to the March 2022 edition.

What's New?

  • The new firmware, sheltering One UI 4.1, and the Android 12 bring a range of visual changes. These majorly include the alteration in the Color Palette, alongside a number of smart widgets and the enhanced. Always On Display and Dark mode. 
  • Post update, you'll be experiencing optimizations in many Samsung-based apps like My Files, Samsung Internet, Gallery, and Samsung Keyboard. 
  • The new firmware brings a new RAM Plus expansion feature. With that, you can desirably pick the volume of virtual RAM to add.
  • Other improvements include camera enhancements and system stability.

Although the update is currently live exclusively in Russia, you can expect the same to reach the global stage real soon.

Galaxy M51 Receives Android 12

No doubt, the company needs to be credited for considering the two-year-old mid-range device and bringing this major update. The handsets all across Russia are reportedly getting the new Android 12 firmware with the build number standing as M515FXXU4DVD1.

As usual, you can expect all the generic Android 12 goodies to hit up the device alongside the optimizations and improvements post update.

Amazfit GT3 Bags an Amazing Mid Year Update

The month of April concluded with a piece of brilliant news for all the Amazfit smartwatch owners. The devices, lined up as Amazfit GTS 3, GTR 3, and also the GTR 3 Pro, were gifted with a major firmware update that featured attention-grabbing additions and improvements.

What's New?

  • The new update adds the notification reply function. The feature, however, is limited to Android phones that bags the Zepp App version of 6.8.0 or above.
  • Post update, the smart alarm clock reminder logic is optimized.
  • The new firmware brings a series of system stability improvements.
  • A number of known bugs have now been addressed.
  • The Bluetooth settings design is now updated.
  • Once you're done with the update, you can reject calls with a message.

While Amazfit GTS 3 gets 7.42.5.1 as the firmware version, your GTR 3 Pro post update will ramp up to 8.37.3.2. The update is currently live for the devices in the US, India, Italy, Vietnam, and the UK, with other regions expected to get unlocked very soon.

Android 12 is Live for Nokia 8.3 5G

For the past couple of weeks, Nokia has been out of the update scenario, but finally, the scenes are getting a bit clear. Not just us, but the users of the Nokia 8.3 5G smartphones have been eagerly waiting for the Android 12 update. Luckily, the wait concludes. 

September 2020 released Nokia 8.3 5G is gaining the Android 12 firmware. Although the update isn't made accessible to everyone yet, the fact that the process has even started brings excitement all around the globe. 

What's New?

  • The new firmware bags the Google's April 2022 security patch.
  • It comes with the usual Android 12 goodies.
  • It shelters a re-designed UI with fresh and new animations.
  • Post update, you can expect an improved privacy control that too in the form of a Privacy Dashboard.

According to some sources, the OTA updates are currently exclusive to the devices in Finland. Other markets alongside the entire global belt are expected to follow soon.

OnePlus Nord 2 has Started Receiving the OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 1 Alongside the April 2022 Security Patches

Recently, OnePlus has started rolling out the first-ever OxygenOS 12 beta build for its mid-range smartphone sensation, the Nord series. According to the recent posts being made by the officials in the OnePlus Community forums, the OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 1, which is, of course, based on Android 12, is now being made available for the users of OnePlus Nord 2. 

Keep in mind, although a beta version, the firmware includes all the goodies and the features Android 12 is popular for, along with the April 2022 security patch and a couple of other handy additions and bug fixes from OnePlus.
