Finally, a piece of great news for Samsung S10 users. The company has recently announced its plan to recruit beta testers for One UI 4.0. The update will be based on the Android 12 OS, and it promises to heat up the experience in S10 series smartphones with a taste of custom skins.

As of now, the beta build will be live for Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy S10e, and Galaxy S10+ users in South Korea and is expected to reach the global stage real soon. Talking about the Galaxy S10 Lite, the device is also expected to get its share of One UI 4.0 later this month.

Samsung Releases Second One UI 4.0 Beta for Galaxy Z Fold2

Being just a couple of weeks apart from when Samsung introduced the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 beta build for Galaxy Z Fold2, we knew the second and third installation was somewhere around the corner. Recently, Samsung has started pushing the third version of this firmware. As expected, it is more about fixing what's wrong than bringing some new stuff to the table.

Here is how the changelog looks like:

  • Fixed the issue where Fingerprint authentication failed to work in some apps.
  • You'll now notice no effect while selecting a quick panel item.
  • No more hint bar error. Navigation bar gesture hint On to Off bottom gesture.
  • The update fixes the dimming of screen brightness when rebooting.
  • No more lock screen resetting. If not, it gets unlocked quickly on Galaxy Watch 4.
  • The issue that resulted in crashing when connected to Galaxy Watch 4 alongside rapid battery drainage has now been answered.
  • Fixed a number of minor issues.
  • Fixed: getting disconnected when using USB for connecting the device to Windows PC.

The beta build, ZUKK firmware, is currently live for the devices in South Korea. However, it is expected to reach the global platform in a week or two.

Third, One UI 4 beta based on Android 12 is out for Samsung Galaxy Note20

Samsung, in recent days, has been busy releasing One UI 4 beta builds based on Android 12, and the scene is pretty identical this week as well. The newly released build labeled ZUL1 bears a changelog similar to what Galaxy Fold2 users have experienced. The rollout is currently exclusive for devices in the US and Korea.

The MIUI 12.5 Enhanced is currently making its way into the units in India and Turkey. Talking about the build numbers, it is V12.5.4.0.RKOINXM and V12.5.4.0.RKOTRXM respectively for the two mentioned nations.
