The race for upgrades is never-ending, and that's why you'll see the OEM industry running busy all month long. The month of April hasn't been any different. While the previous few weeks primarily highlighted Samsung and its One UI 4.1, the current week revolves more around other manufacturers and their attempts to take Android 12 further.
Welcome to Updato; we're back again with the weekly updates, and this time around, we'll be focusing on how the 3rd week of April turned out to be. Before diving deep into the news, let's quickly run through the devices which made it to the headlines recently.

The fact that LG has moved away significantly from the smartphone sphere hasn't affected their support for software updates. No doubt, that's a great thing for the users; at least, the scope for complaints is tight. Anyway, coming to the point, the month of April has packed a great piece of news for the LG V60 ThinQ owners in the US as they receive the much-awaited upda7BG or Android 12.
Keep in mind that the new firmware is currently restricted only to the units sold by T-Mobile. Talking about the update in detail, the Android 12 loaded software weighs somewhere around 1.17 GB.

According to the official sources, devices like RealMe 8 5G, RealMe 8s 5G, and the Narzo 30 5G should enter the early access list by the end of April 2022. The month of May, however, will feature firmware updates for RealMe 9i and RealMe X7.

Android 12 is Live for the Motorola Edge Pro 20 Devices
There is no denying the fact that Motorola lagged quite a bit in rolling out the Android 12 updates, and the very first featured just two months back in February. Nevertheless, the company has been consistent ever since, and that's why every other week, we find a new device getting its share of Android 12. The tale is no different this time around as the Edge 20 Pro prepares for the new OS update.
Currently exclusive for the devices in Brazil, the new firmware bags the build number S1RA32.41-20-16. A bit strange that Motorola is still busy working around the March Android security patch while the OEM industry is already planning for the May variant. Still, the fact that users will get to enjoy the Android 12 goodies is really exciting.
Although the update is rolling within a specific geo-location, it won't be long before the same hits the global shore.
Moto G100 Gets Android 12
Android 12-based firmware rolls out for the Moto G100 devices in Brazil. Weighing somewhere around 1.5 GB, the new firmware shelters March 2022 security patch together with the usual Android 12 goodies, UX enhancements, enhanced camera features, and more. It is worth keeping in mind that the G100 devices with the XT2125-4-DS build version are getting the new update.

Loaded with the March 2022 security patch, the new update ramps up the device with the firmware version 59.2.A.0.422. As usual, it is evident to find a number of Android 12 goodies alongside.
- Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 won't be getting the support for Google Assistant. Responding to queries, Google's spokesperson Ivy Hunt made the scene clear, stating, " To confirm, Assistant is not rolling out to Galaxy Watch 4, and we don't have an update on timing."
- Samsung M51 gets Android 12 global update (Firmware version: M515FXXU4DVD1)
- Reportedly, May 2022 security patches are already out for some Samsung S22 devices. Currently, the FOTA is exclusive to Asian countries, including India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
A Quick Round-Up:

- The Roadmap For RealMe's Latest UI Update is Finally Out
- Android 12 is Live for the Motorola Edge Pro 20 Devices
