1There isn't any information about the rumored Exynos 64-bit Infinity, on the market yet. Samsung announced a 2.0 version of the old Exynos 5420 at MWC this week. Exynos 5422 has the same architecture as the older version ,but it has features that shows higher clocks. It still has the 4+4 combination of Cortex A15 and A7 cores. A15 is clocked at 2.1 GHz and Cortez A7 at 1.5 GHz. This will probably be the SoC that will be part of the octa-core processor on the newest version of Galaxy, the S5.The new software has a new hibernation algorithm that helps by increasing the efficiency. Another feature is the mobile image engine, which reduces memory bandwidth. The new Exynos comes with Heterogenous Multi Processing future, which uses a combination of any cores in conjunction, or all eight cores runt simultaneous.Exynos 5260 is a smaller hardware that comes with 2 A15 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz and 4 A7 cores at 1.3 GHz. Also, this Exynos has the same feature as 5422, and all cores can work at the same time. It comes with VP8 and MPEG 4 codecs, which means the device can Full-HD playback at 60 fps. 5260 has a memory bandwidth of 12.8 GB/s. This one is in production right now, but the 5422 will enter the production line later this year.
