Amazon has managed to create a real buzz around their upcoming device, which has been rumored for a long time now. A report by the WSJ breaks the story that AT&T was chosen to be the official carrier of the new Amazon smartphone. There isn't much information about this upcoming device. However, Amazon did a great job teasing the device with a Youtube video where people are supposedly using a device that simply blows their minds. Reports in the specialty media tell us that the device will feature its own user interface designed to fit Amazon's interest. It will feature a 720p display resolution on a 4.7 inch screen and Android KitKat right out of the box. The Amazon phone is also expected to have finger-tracking technology which enables you to activate the touchscreen without actually touching the screen. This is much like hovering introduced on the Galaxy S4.What's more impressive is that it may feature an active lenticular touchscreen that can render 3D images visible with the naked eye by using a camera to track the pupils of the person using the phone, showing the images in the sweet-spot of vision, which results in 3D rendering. The device is expected to be launched on Wednesday, June 18, at an event hosted by no other than Jeff Bezos, Amazon's founder.
