Months after the official release of Android 7.0 Nougat by Google, it took Samsung until the second week of January to replicate it for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. However, the wait for AT&T Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Nougat update is not over just yet.Since the Nougat update for the flagship devices has only been unveiled in regions where the Galaxy Beta Program was rolled out. Hence, even the unlocked Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices worldwide are not yet eligible for the update. While there is no news on when the Nougat update will be available across all regions, the AT&T Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Nougat update are expected in the beginning of spring. A senior AT&T official has reported that the update is already in the beta testing phase and can be expected by March or April.Nonetheless, we cannot put a guarantee stamp on the report, as the carrier can choose to release the update sooner or later than it has proposed. While you wait for AT&T Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Nougat update to roll out through the official channel, keep an eye on the Updato Samsung Firmware Platform as well.
