Iphone A6The next iPhone will not have Samsung's chip inside, as we got used to with the previous models, says a report by Korea Economic Daily. Apple used to order processors from Samsung but due to recent trials between the two companies the relations has gotten a little cold.Samsung now has to make up for the Apple loss, so apparently they decided to target the low-cost phone processor market with integrated 3G/4G chips. This is the territory of Qualcomm, and it seems Samsung is ready to enter it. The advantage of Qualcomm is that they build the CPU's with the modem integrated directly inside the processor, unlike the Exynos processors build by Samsung that do not have this feature. For the iPhone 6 Apple will probably partner with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Samsung's big rival. However we do have information that the iPhone 7 will once again sport chips from Samsung, as they are the only ones that can produce the latest technology at the moment.
